Honest question: Why did you put this user on blast for asking about bug fixes and feature updates, as if they weren’t asking in good faith?

Sorry but this sounds like victim blaming. Was I wrong for asking a question to the owner of this platform about data privacy? Are we not allowed to ask questions like this without being attacked? My post was re-spouted by Chris and I’ve now been called a troll and told to leave the platform.

Thank you, Mary for being kind. It's a bit of a turnoff though, to get called out by the owner of the platform, and then get yelled at and be called a troll. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'm new here, and when I joined the search function wasn't working and didn't want to blindly follow people. Was hoping this was a cool new community-driven platform, but it's been a difficult start here for me.

I get that, I guess... I guess I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on. Sigh.

It's not in the TOS. It's a separate policy that I didn't see.

I didn't make a false claim. I read the Terms of Use and it isn't in there. It's a separate policy. I was mistaken. I already replied to Chris and thanked him for the clarification. I'm not sure why I keep getting yelled at and attacked.

Thanks, Mary. It wasn't in the TOS which is why I posed the question.

Just joined this thing a couple of days ago and the vitriolic response to my innocent question about data security is not making me want to post original content.

Asking a question is bad? I've literally only been here for a couple of days and I share Broadway content. LOL How is that "making trouble"? Pretty sure I'm unproblematic.

Thanks, Chris for your clarification. I didn't see it as it's not in the TOS.

Not sure why people are attacking me and telling me to leave the platform for asking a simple question tho.

Not having a policy in the TOS about sharing users' personal data is a policy in itself. Any data that Spoutible collects is fair game and can/will be sold until they publish a policy on it.

There's nothing in the Terms of Use that states they won't sell data or content, and no way to opt out of data being sold. The TOU specifically states that any content users post is owned by Spoutible.

With all due respect sir, Spoutible's Terms of Use say otherwise.

"you grant us the right and license to use, modify, display and distribute such Content by and through the Spoutible Platform and make it available to others, who may also use such Content subject to these Terms and Conditions."
