In Chicago's Millennium Park to check out Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate sculpture, somewhat affectionately known as "The Bean." It was an interesting experience to walk around and even under it, and look at the city (and ourselves) in its reflective surface.

We we bought our home, the en suite bathroom was dated (early 80s) and the shower was tiny - claustrophobic. My elbows hit the walls when I stepped in and pretended to wash my hair. We opted to do a remodel before we moved in. Now I love our spacious shower!

A few years back, we had a neighbor whose cat would frequently be found sitting by the door, or on the windowsill. My son couldn't walk past without greeting the kitty. I'd like to think the cat looked forward to Kiddo's visits as much as he did!

When my Nonnie passed, I was told to pick a few of her knicknacks as my own. I chose these two, wrapped them, and shipped them home. The one on the right broke in transit. I was devastated. Thankfully, it's been fixed, and the break isn't visible in this photo, at least.

When Disney brought Star Wars into the parks, Hollywood Studios started up a brief stage show, preceded by a march of stormtroopers escorting Vader to the stage. Kiddo (7 at the time) was hassled by a storm trooper who accused him of being in the Resistance. He loved that!
