You guys voted twice not to allow sexually explicit content on this platform. Some argued that we should allow sexually explicit content and use filters. We honored the wishes of the Spoutible community, and once again, you guys were was right.

Ugh...Williamson and Kennedy are freaks. I don't understand how any Democrat could support these people or believe they are presidential material.

Hey Texas!
Your children are being slaughtered because grown men don't want any rules on how to play with their extremely deadly toys.
It's insanity.

She sounds great.

And I love this: "With her election, and thanks to the party's recent revamp of its primary schedule, four of the five states in which Democrats will vote first next year—Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and South Carolina—now have Black women chairing their state parties."

You know what I like most about Spoutible?
A lot of things really.
But right now?

A post in the hellsite says "the guy with the mustache" might have had the right idea" has been up for ten hours.

It wouldn't last ten minutes here.
I probably wouldn't have even seen it.
I like that a lot.

It's a well-respected magazine, and I am excited about it. Also, I am not worried about Bluesky because it will be just as toxic as Twitter within weeks. Jack didn't care before, and he doesn't care now. My issue is how certain individuals in the media are trying to play "kingmaker."

I struggled with hate and bitterness for many years.

My father was assassinated, my paternal grandmother was assassinated, my uncle died mysteriously.

But I had to seek wellness or I would have been consumed.

I’m grateful that I learned that love is great fuel for justice.

I got a text from MoveOn.org this morning. It was a poll asking us to vote on whether or not they should endorse President Biden for re-election. I voted yes. Why would they even consider not endorsing him?

Dems should push back a lot harder than they tend to do.

Don't forget, the corporate media structure doesn't generally push dem talking points. They would rather have a republican on to tell Biden how to attract right leaning voters.

PepsiCo raised prices 16% in the last quarter. They make things like Cheetos and Quaker Oats.
Sales volume is down 2% and profits are up 18%.
That is price gouging on an epic scale.

See what's happening here?

You stabilize the base, gradually adding features and ensuring that the product doesn't introduce new kinks. Once the most important functions are integrated and functional, it can move to the app.

This isn't even "slow and steady". They are rocking and rolling!

I certainly cannot argue that. Considering the # of Dems in the House and Senate you only hear about a small handful who have the courage to scream from the mountain top. When in fact they all should be making noise every day.

I do not believe that is 100% accurate, I agree our Dem law makers need to fight harder and get in the mud and make a bigger stink. The problem is not having a majority in the House and a super majority in the Senate. Until that happens we cannot pass laws to change these things. Voting Matters

Ya know… I didn’t think I’d be saying in 2023 :

“Disney’s gonna save us from fascism!”

And yet here we are. Brilliant excerpt of the lawsuit submission here shared by @marmel . Disney ain’t playing … and we are watching Ron DeSantis’ presidential aspirations crash and burn.

This paragraph of Disney's lawsuit against DeSantis is pitch perfect.

"You know, this is something that's happening across the country and it's very, very common, especially for students of color, to experience discouragement..."

And that doesn't have to be. Remove the structural barriers.

Structural racism *is* racism. Period.
Social Media Ecosystem @OmarLittle
My Hot Take: Until we have an honest conversation about structural racism and the huge impact it's had on so many lives of Black and Brown folks, we're fucked as a country.

It took a lot of courage for the parents of the Louisville bank shooter for speaking out. The family was proactive in his mental health treatment and the shooting still happened. The problem is ACCESS TO THE GUNS AND THE LAW MAKERS WHO REFUSE TO PROTECT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
