On my nightly walk, I passed by this Anna’s Hummingbird nest I found 3 weeks ago. I waited knowing mama was going to leave and stock up on calories for the night. Once she left, I quickly snapped this photo and moved away. I hope these two survive the sub-freezing temperatures tonight.

This beautiful small flower of the milkweed plant along with my garden are bringing the Monarch and all the birds, bees and all pollinators to my yard.. Today, I gave a hummingbird a shower 3 times while I was watering my garden. I'm so thankful. I hope to capture a photo tomorrow
