Every bit of this thread.

Every. Single. Word.

Everyone who threw away their vote in 2016 and/or plans to throw away their vote in 2024 - even while fully understanding the potential repercussions - is responsible for what IS happening now and what WILL happen if we don't win in 2024.

When Roe V Wade was overturned, Susan Sarandon said "Not My Fault". But she replied to a tweet Hillary made warning us about SCOTUS in 2106, and called her a FEAR MONGERER, told her she's disgusting for trying to create FEAR. I forgot NONE of them

What happened?

2016. Republicans went rogue.

Between 2016 and 2022. A lot of Young People came of voting age. They still going to vote in 2024.

Along with the rest who became of voting age between 2022 and 2024.

This is what gives me hope 2024 will be a blow out. Until that happens, though, we can’t become overly confident because that risks complacency.

I can't be any more clear on this point.

If you didn't vote for Hillary in 2016, everything that happened after is 100% your fault. Whatever excuse you make is bullshit.

We warned you, you voted 3rd party or stayed home. This is on you.

The consequences are dire. If we don't vote blue up and down the ballot, Americans are about to find out what it is like to live in a tue facist country. Kiss the constitution good bye.

Pretty sure she will be continually reminded. We're not going to let her - or others like her - off easy.

What the 2016 election showed, viewed from outside, is that those that don’t vote actually do vote, just not the way they would prefer sometimes! Voter turn out in the next election has to be decisive and deal a death blow to the current GOP.

I feel like it will be a blow out, and I hope I'm right. At the same time, we can't risk becoming overly confident to where ppl don't feel the urgency to vote. It is absolutely urgent. I honestly wish the election were this year. 2024 seems so far away.

Yes, not voting always benefits GOP because the majority of R’s vote so their candidate wins more often. Add a little gerrymandering/voter suppression and in the South it’s almost a certain R win.
But when D’s vote in the numbers they should, they win.
Vote Blue ‘24

The sheer, entitled privilege of choosing not to vote causes direct harm to me and mine, and to all the other marginalized groups. I was raised by literal blacklisted communists who never missed an election and voted blue every time because they'd survived what happens when you're not allowed to vot

One of the most common dirty tricks played by the GOP is to mislead Dem voters - particularly marginalized groups - into believing Dems "aren't doing enough" to earn their vote. Sadly, many believed this in yrs past and became disenfranchised from voting at all. Now we're seeing the results of that.
