I've never had the kind of ongoing interaction with mutuals and random folks alike on any other platform. Ever. Not even Facebook where I'm a part of groups and have "friends" that I've known IRL.

That experience is entirely unique to #Spoutible for me, and hasn't diminished at all in five months.

Back-and-forth engagement happens here because we've come to know some disruptive a33hole won't torch or stalk or dox us here. The ability to be direct & vulnerable allows for real communication. Safety makes it possible. But that also means standing up & protecting our own. Plus learning.

I did have that on Twitter ... but trolls would then show up and torch things.

I do that that is a big part of what's different here - Trolls have a harder time keeping a foothold. I never had the patience for that kind of mess on Twitter.

How the heck was I not following you already? I know I've seen you in comments a lot. I fixed that now.
