A few of us were trying to start a splashtag where our community would share arts and crafts of any kind; painting, crochet, knitting, quilts, jewelry, woodworking, etc. Going to post a dresser tray I made experimenting with glass. It feels a bit odd if not a lot of folks participate

Our International Folk Art Market is happening this weekend. Can I use this tag to highlight some of their art work?
I don't make things usually but admire those that do.

Or just use #SpoutArt and whatever it is like #ceramics . I use those whenever I spout artsy stuff not made by the community. Trying to keep #SpoutibleMakes for our community but there is really no rules! Whatever makes you happy. A bunch of us just enjoy art-related stuff.

I know what you mean, My wife is a crochet designer, she is always working on something. I maintain a web site for her to sell the patterns. She has 7 books out there and a bunch of patterns in various publications.
There isn't a surface that will hold a doily that doesn't have one or two on it.

But! My next project is a couple of baby sweaters in this pattern. I always choose a non-traditional color for babies so the next one' just might be a lovely hazelnut color with an off-white trim.

Another Shibori scarf that I gifted to my first silk dyeing teacher. She told me that none of her students over many years had ever given her a gift, so I was glad that it occurred to me to share this with her.

What a beautiful silk scarf and such a kind gesture to gift it to your silk dyeing teacher. I never realized you could dye silk on your own. It must take a lot of skill and patience.

These are silk test squares dyed using the Shibori method. I created these years ago as test experiments and they've been in storage for a while. Finally decided to hang them in front of window that we often leave open in the warmer months. I really love that colors and the movement. #SpoutibleMakes

You are brave to work with glass! I'd probably get injured.
That turned out great. And the #Canadians 🇨🇦 should like that it contains two of their flag's colors. 🤭

Thank you. Not a hobby if you don't want to get cut. It will happen eventually but not anything life-threatening.

That's lovely! I got a bunch of stained glass supplies (even the grinder) a couple of months ago but I need to clear some space in my craft room before I can use them. (Step 1: Vacuum seal all the unprocessed wool. Step 2: Donate acrylic yarn and fabric I know I will never get around to using.)

Haven't used the hashtag lately because most of what I'm producing is an intermediate step, e.g. handspun yarn to be used for something else, or swatches of art supplies, or dyed embroidery thread or macrame cord. Unless you want a picture of my gross-looking indigo vat (which is actually working).

I took up knitting at night, it helps calm my overactive brain and relieve work stress. Had a bunch of small skeins of craft yarn so I’m currently on a hearts binge.

@Bevturner , I think @April_Sparkles is correct:
I think malfunctioning Spoutible along with the time needed to focus on ousting hater-trolls here diverted our collective attention.
(I personally felt like I was posting too many #SpoutibleMakes and pulled back.)
BTW: Works-in-progress are welcome!
