Here is what you can expect from Spoutible in the near future.
1. The iOS app will be released soon. Yes, I know I keep saying that, but the release was delayed because we had to fix an overheating bug. The bug is fixed, and now we are waiting.

2. Greatly improved search. Searching content will be significantly faster and more granular.
3. Interest-based filters and connections. The surge of teens joining Spoutible made us realize we must give our users more control over what they want to see. We also want to help users connect more.

4. Custom interest-based timelines. It will be similar to lists, but we are taking it further. You will be able to add accounts to your custom timelines manually or have Spoutible automatically add accounts based on what they spout. So, for example, you can have a news timeline and a gamer timeline.

5. The one thing that is missing from all of the Twitter alternatives is a Twitter Spaces equivalent. Once we are finished revamping our front end, we will launch Spoutible Pods, which is our answer to Spaces. Pods will be audio and video, with unique features not available elsewhere.

Along the way, we will improve and tweak our current features. Anyone who joined in February knows the platform today isn't the same platform we launched just five months ago. We have come a long way in five short months, and we are just getting started.

I forgot to mention we are also experimenting with machine learning / AI to help our users find content. For example, you will be able to type into search, "Find accounts interested in cooking," and Spoutible will recommend accounts that are interested in cooking.

Cool, but imo the biggest problem with spoutible is how the notifications aren't grouped. This punishes people who make a 'popular' post because they'll have to scroll through hours of individual notifications to get to notifications of other things.

A mute button and fixing the repetition in the timeline would be great. That being said, been here from the beginning and it gets better all the time. Thank you Chris!

Enjoying Spoutible & can definitely see big difference from Feb to now. Looking forward to the IOS app (patiently). Will there be something to translate spouts without having to put it to google translate? Or is there something here already that I am missing? More people mean more languages.

iOS has a translating function, and I believe android does too, although I don’t know what it is. Highlight the text and Translate pops up. (Edit: Of course I have the images reversed here 🙃😅)

This is not a big thing, but Making Waves needs some improvement too in the future. First, maybe set a minimum limit so that a hashtag needs to be written at least 3 (or 5?) times.
It would also be very cool if the waves changed in size, depending on how many are using the hashtag.

How about a feature to let us know when we've successfully spouted?
And sometimes the back button doesn't always take me back to where I was. But back to the top.

Regarding this machine learning / AI feature, are you talking about using some 3rd party AI like chatGPT? If yes, what would be Spoutible's policy vis-à-vis protecting it's user base from having their data harvested aggressively?

I hope evryone steps back takes a breath & marvels at ur vision comn 2gether after just 5 mnths! Yes there were many more mnths with the planning & experimenting to get things right but the whole process has been amazing &it was done from scratch without havin followers & platform already in place!

Please be sure to document & publish how the AI will gauge "interest."
Nobody searching for "accounts interested in X" wants a slew of results that include folks whose posts about X comprise but a small % of what they discuss.
