I’m sure there are people outside of the US, who are looking at all the posts about voting I’m thinking “Oh my God it’s just posts about voting, I'm off”.
Please don’t go, if you don’t understand the seriousness should the Republicans win the next election you need to do more research.

On the contrary, US politics affects us all. I’m still bamboozled by the electoral system which seems incredibly unwieldy but starting to get it (sort of)!

The current electoral system is crazy, far too convoluted and far too many representatives for huge states in comparison to those for smaller states that are more populous.

Always happy to hear people voting.

I live in Alberta, Canada. In our May election voter apathy allowed the conservatives to squeak a majority based on approx 11,000 votes.

About 2.4 million did not exercise their right to vote.

Exactly, I live in Canada, which is right next door, and I certainly don’t want to be next to a US run by Donald Trump again.
