I have had a migraine for a week. Nothing seems to help. Anyone out there have any remedies that work for them? 😕

It sounds weird but roll a tennis ball on your head, it feels amazing. Also anything cold you can press against your head. I just started taking propranolol today, which is supposed to help with migraine/brain fog/anxiety and it might be helping..rx from neurologist

I also started propranolol. Fingers crossed for us both! : )

For me, it is heat. A stocking cap or a pillow over the top of my head as I crawl under the covers and try to sleep it off. Bare feet sticking out of the covers helps keep me from overheating.

I wrote this blog post w/ideas ranging from when to go to the ER (for stubborn migraine attacks), to preventive & acute medications, to home treatments. Hope it's useful! https://thecounterfactualbrain.wordpress.com/2022/01/21/help-im-having-a-migraine-attack-a-long-post...

Dark quiet room, cool compress; turn off your phone.

After this one passes, get your doc to prescribe migraine-specific meds. If they won't, go to a specialist.

If you're not opposed, and it's legal near you-Combo Thc/cbd gummies can take the pressure down to dull bearable levels. Lower doses like 5-10%, and 1/1 ratio work best for me for this purpose.
