And people wonder why no one wants to start a business! People wanted a Twitter alternative. @cbouzy rolled up his sleeves and gave you one. Now people want to gripe about the rules. If you don't like the rules go create your own web site.

Which rules, though? The ones that state we are in violation if we send a private message with sexually explicit content? Or the one that says that our private conversations are encrypted and therefore fully private?

Bottom line is a good lawyer wasn't brought in to work on this stuff and it show

These do not seem to be mutually exclusive. Messages can be encrypted & private & the TOS can prohibit sending sexually explicit encrypted private pictures. If sending sexually explicit pictures to people is what is important to you, perhaps Spoutible is not the social media site for you.

I’ve seen some concerns about LGBTQ being welcome. I’m not sure how this equates to sex workers? I have several LGBTQ follows already? Did I miss something?

I’m wondering the same thing and wonder if it’s just the war on Christmas thing where there’s no war but some folks are trying stir things up.

For those who want adult content, there are plenty of websites for that. I, for one, am glad this is not one of those websites. I'm no prude, by any stretch, but if I want to see that stuff, I'll seek it elsewhere. I'm enjoying the actual news, and lack of trolls and bots here.

Thank you! The whining at this early stage is not only ridiculous but really selfish.

Well, a website of prudish scolds with HOA on the brain sounds like a dreary no-starter. Ultimately, it means Spoutible will slowly wither away like so many other social sites. (I’m looking at you, Tumblr.)

It is his business he can set whatever rules he wishes. I for one an grateful he made a safe space for us to interact and share thoughts and ideas. He created a wonderful alternative to the vile Bird app in record time with his own funds. Go back if you are not happy.

The fact that they're everything about the rules is actually a compliment. It means this place is so attractive that people are eager to use it even if they don't read the community guidelines and agree with them. That's a positive!

No, it’s not. This is not about sex workers.

This is about the community guidelines not allowing graphic adult content on the platform - by whoever.

People don’t want to see shlongs and tits and sex in their timelines or advertising for the same.

Many have seen too much of that on Twitter.
