@noblerot I remember watching this interview with a British chef come to this country and was shocked to see the abundance of #samphire which retails around $30/kg over there. They grow around our coastal areas and I can get them...for free. Fresh too.

Our home on kangaroo island had. Creek with a little freshwater samphire flat… local chefs loved it. :)
