Here is our spam policy so folks can stop pretending they didn't know posting the same content repeatedly is called spam and has been against the rules on every social media platform for decades.🙂

I didn't know. I understand. There's a difference. Please don't blanket misrepresent people. It's abusive.

Hopefully soon the newness of the word cloud will wear off and people will stop worrying about what's there, and let it be organic. I have it just turned off because too many people are just spouting in order to get something in the cloud.

Beyond all the controversies that are generally created by those who want to cause havoc, a big thank you to Christopher & his determination to ensure that the rules are followed & respected. Generally who make mistakes know doing it & happy to commit it. Unfortunately, someone follows the trail

Honestly didn't know that repeatedly posting statement without explanation was considered spam. I've been using social media for years. Don't read all terms and conditions as should. Thanks for information.

The definition of "spam" was established decades ago when email began to gain in usage. This definition and anti-spam policy should not be a surprise to anyone who uses email. Please don't spam on #spoutible .

The rules on this platform are an excellent framework for civil and cordial interaction. Thank you!

Thanks for posting this for many of us! I've copied my replies on topical subjects here & there, mostly because as a caregiver, it saves my limited social media time, but has never been less than genuine. I never considered it to be spam. It's no more spam than attempts to get words in the Cloud.

The posts also have to “be seen as intrusive, promotional, or disruptive to users.” So you’re probably good 🙂.

It’s not pretending for many folks. It saddens me to see judgment about people who are choosing Spoutible for their first outing on social media. Working with all kinds of people including elders who truly do not know. Perhaps this person was pretending perhaps not. Let’s not make assumptions 🤗

It is pretending. We’ve been through this very same energy with ppl acting like they can’t read/understand plain English on the anti-porn policy here. No one in 2023 is extending grace to ppl whose sole aim is to disrupt this space w/their silliness.
