thread 1/11
This is the third and final thread in my three-part series. In this final installment, I will delve into my projections for 2024 and share insights on election-related matters. Regardless of the perspectives offered here, I want to underscore the importance of voting. Complacency is not an option.

Democracy was on the ballot in 2020, but as we approach 2024, topics such as women's and LGBTQ+ rights become even more critical. Vice President Harris possesses a unique perspective and voice on these matters, distinct from that of a white man. VP Harris will be Biden's greatest asset.

Removing VP Harris will have significant ramifications. Such an ill-informed decision would result in the alienation of the Democratic Party's most loyal voting block, thereby jeopardizing races up and down the ballot. Moreover, there is no evidence to suggest VP Harris hurts Biden's 2024 prospects.

Contrary to what my peers and journalists claim, Democrats are poised to have another historic election. The media has portrayed Trump as an electoral juggernaut, but it is far from reality. Trump narrowly won the 2016 election, and since then, the GOP has performed poorly in every election cycle.

Trump has not made significant inroads with Black voters, young voters, or Independents. Given his extensive legal challenges coupled with the Republican Party's stance on women's and LGBTQ+ rights, the likelihood of another Trump presidency is improbable. To suggest otherwise is fan fiction.

Furthermore, should the Republican Party opt to replace Trump with another candidate, it would lead to an electoral disaster. His loyal supporters would feel disenfranchised and subsequently sit out the election in protest. The Republican Party is in a precarious position with no apparent way out.

Recently, there has been considerable attention paid to Biden's age. While these discussions garner media attention for clicks and views, it will be a moot point as we get closer to election day. Biden and Trump are nearly the same age, and voters will not decide the election based on age.

The 2024 election isn't about the White House but the House, Senate, governorships, and local elections. The rematch between Biden and Trump will end the way it did in 2020, with Biden winning the popular vote and Electoral College. Recent polls indicating a 10-point lead for Trump are laughable.

The House and Senate are not a certainty. However, the momentum favors Democrats, with Democrats overperforming in special elections nationwide. Given the potential for internal strife within the Republican Party, which I anticipate will happen, 2024 could give Democrats historic wins in key states.

In closing, Democrats shouldn't replace President Biden or VP Harris, nor should Democrats panic because of inaccurate polls using outdated methodologies. Dance with who brought you, and use the advantage of the bully pulpit. Biden and Harris will not cost you the election, but dysfunction will.

VP Harris was the AG of CA, Sen from CA & now MVP. She is very qualified for the office, intelligent, articulate, personable & has a sense of humor. VP's always stand in the shadow of the president as to not outshine them. She is Biden's biggest asset. Like Biden the MSM ignores her accomplishments
In response to Liz Adams.
