Would you accept a democrat compromise for either Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger if it got them the 5 Republican votes they needed?

I would accept a bipartisan agreement with Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker, with all the democrats plus the few Republicans it would take. No reason for Democrats to pull Republican coals from the fire.

No way in the world that enough Republicans would vote for Kinzinger or Cheney. Neither will ever be speaker as GOP views them as “traitors” for their truth telling.

Who it is doesn't matter, since there's still a GOP majority. Unless a handful of them agree to make deals with Democrats for legislation, it's not going to be any different from McCarthy - either the GOP wins, or nothing gets done, and the Senate blocks most of what they put through.

Oh Lord no. If the majority can't get their own candidate elected to the job, they are on their own. They made the mess.

That would be better than any of the other Republican options
