I am glad President Biden mentioned a two-state solution to the conflict in Israel but as long as the Likud party and the kooks that back them remain in power it is not happening. These are the same people who cheered the assassination of Rabin for trying to fix this wrong

Isn't the refusal to consider a two-state solution as much about hard-liners on both sides treating compromise as anathema? As long as the governing bodies refuse to negotiate, this is a pipe dream.

I am quite aware of the complications but that’s factual. The Palestinians want all of the land back. That won’t happen. I personally agree that it’s the only solution but unfortunately, now neither side is interested. I expect Netanyahu to lose power soon.
