I took this photo last night with my phone. The level of detail from such a small lens still amazes me.

Pixel 6a, "astrophotography" long exposure, on a table pointing straight up, in a built-up area with streetlights, blackpoint adjusted to compensate for atmospheric light. I could see maybe 6 stars by eye. Staggering.

This was my first thought as well. I don't think it's physically possible for a phone camera to capture that level of detail of a bright object at night... it's kind of a slippery slope when AI starts "fixing" your photos - they slowly stop reflecting reality.
