Why is healthcare so expensive in America?

In the past few years, some hospital CEOs have seen their salaries increase by as much as 700 percent. Yes, you read that correctly.

Say it with me, Medicare for All.

It's amazing to me how many people think Medicare for All would be universal healthcare. It's not. And it doesn't cover anywhere near everything.

And what happens when there is a president and administration that don't like Medicare and don't want everyone to have healthcare?
Imagine the equivalent of Louis Dejoy or Betsy Devos is charge of Healthcare.

as it is currently, you are correct. but, true single payer, Medicare for all type coverage wouldn't have the holes we've allowed conservatives to drill into Medicare to weaken it. every other developed nation has figured it out, we're the village idiots.

Agreed--but that's not what people are actually talking about when they say "Medicate for All." They THINK it is...but it's not. I think we need to be more specific and aim for what we actually want (and need).
