I was so confident in the manuscript I wanted to write and I had an outline and now it's Day 1 and I'm wanting to write a different book altogether??? Why though????

Whoever signed me up for #NaNoWriMo has got some explaining to do. #WritingCommunity

😁 It's the same guy who every night says, "I'll wake up early tomorrow to work out." Just an overly ambitious rendition of my former self.

Ron Howard: He didn't finish his NaNo project.

I changed mine right before I started typing. So you’re not alone.

What a weird phenomenon, as if there are ghosts in the keyboard that inhabit us upon sitting down to write - their story becomes our story.

Can relate

My second year of doing NaNoWriMo I had planned to write a messy and magnificent sci-fi thing, but at 12.01 am the lead character from the prior year's effort decided his story wasn't done

(I ended you writing the Sci-fi thing the next year, and it gets wonderful rejection letters)
