Everyone has a phone, but most people barely use it to make phone calls. Most people have several social media accounts, but they are rarely social on social media. We are trying to bring social back to social media. Not focus on likes and echoes, but engaging conversations.

Spoutible is where the geeks, nerds, elderly, and "awkward" are the superstars. At Spoutible, you don't have to be famous to be seen. We are doing things differently, and we are not trying to be like Twitter. This. Is. Spoutible!

I qualify for elderly and awkward anyway. And I appreciate feeling heard.

Confused about the "like" button. Can I love a post verses like? I click on parts of the heart and they all light up. What's the difference?

I think profiles should count both spouts and replies. If you only reply, engaging in conversations, it doesn't add to your profile, so people who check that, don't think you're active.

People who check your profile can see both your spouts and replies. It’s definitely a good way to get a feel for someone’s vibe

I read and respond to spouts. I seldom look at a profile. I am not concerned about likes or echos. I intend to use the lists.

@cbouzy Umm, I do not have a mobile device and never have owned one.
I just wanted to put that out there on the off chance I manage to be the last person on earth without one.
I'd like something silly named after me.
You have made something great right when we needed it.
Thank you again.

I had a mobile device while my mom was in hospice care...buried it with her and haven't been chained to one of the damn things since then. that was about twenty odd years ago.
