I have to explain an answer. I said if I could only use 1 SM platform it would be Twitter but that’s ONLY bc I’m still getting more up to date COVID info and there’s still a better higher ed network there for me. Trying to get them over here.

Honestly Mastodon is a great social media platform in it's infancy compared to Spoutible. We at #FreePressWithoutBorders News equally love Mastodon and Spoutible. Big difference is Spoutible generates greater engagements over Mastodon.

Hello, one concept missing from your survey is the interest in following institutional accounts. Science editors, scientific institutes, etc... are very much on the bird site. It is a big reason why i'm still on there.

You need to make the link larger so it stands out. If people don’t see it & keep clicking on the page they are going to by pass it. I read a few responses & read mention of link. It is so tiny.

Filled it out. I suggest for future ones perhaps an optional comment section. My social media rankings contradict somewhat the answers that followed regarding platforms. Not sure if others had a similar experience.

i’m apparently doing it wrong. because the screen won’t progress & i’m trying to follow the directions. i’m not absolutely clear on what’s meant by ranking. i have experience with 4 of the listed platforms. am i supposed to rank all of them? how can i do that with no experience with them?

Just did a little test. It's possible people are using 9 as "most preferred" and 1 as "least preferred" options. The survey uses 1 as most and 9 as least. Otherwise, the survey won't submit.

I had trouble with that one too. Even though we were only supposed to rank the ones we knew I had to rank them all. So I ranked Sp 1 an Tw 9.

I wanted to be able to rank the SM sites I'd used but leave gaps. In other words I'd only used 4 of the possible 9 but I wanted to rank X as 9 but I had to put them in order so I could only rank 1-4. Doesn't capture my feelings. I HATE X.

Just tried to do this and ended up with a problem. Question 2 says ‘Ignore those platforms you don’t use’. When I push the submit button it keeps taking me back to that question. I don’t want to rank the ones I have never used.

I just did this and was similarly confused. If you've only tried 3, rank 1,2,3 and the others blank. But you can't rank, for example, 1,8,9.

I tried. Question 2 tells me to rank platforms I've tried and to ignore those I haven't, but the survey won't allow me to submit until I rank all of them.

An honest answer to number 4 is not possible for me. I've heard Spoutible is doing something from you, but I've seen no evidence. So, my answer is based on a claim. I should have been able to leave it blank. :-)
