When the War against the "War on Christmas" began, there were 3 store employees with whom I had a friendly relationship. A Hindu who always called me "Mr. Joseph." A Muslim woman who would share stories of her kids. And a Sikh who always called me "My friend," & & wore a White Sox cap.

As a child of the 60s/70s growing up in small-town Wonder Bread America, I remember when "Seasons Greetings" was a thing and nobody ever lost their mind (or their religion)

It is not such an issue here in Sydney, especially in more multicultural diverse locations like where I live in the wrong side of Red Rooster line. Because Hindu, Sikhs, atheists and cricket fans also get paid holidays (generally) around the Christmas/Boxing Day and NY. And Boxing/ NY are secular
