This is the end of my 3 semester and 1.5yrs at my new uni as an assistant prof. To say that I am exhausted would be an understatement 😮‍💨 but more days than not I do love what I do, but I don't want to die for this work--and it is work. But this term, my mental health is hanging by a thread due 1

Grief from two sudden and traumatic deaths of people I care about. Worry over my parents health, my health & everything else in the world. But I know this job would replace me in a min. But I'm happy to say a collaboration is coming close to be done. I can't wait to share more on that & my book.

Hang in there. Early days on the lower rung of university teaching are exhausting, almost like a hazing. It will get better. Breathe!
