E.G. for Example

Amazon just used a 5-by-6-by-9-inch box to ship me a 2.5-by-4-inch card with a tiny USB flash drive. I was expecting a small padded envelope.

They used that padded envelope to ship me a flimsy box with some capsules enclosed in a blister pack. Well, they used to be capsules. Now they're crushed up stuff encased in blister pack in a crushed box.

Some decisions are ridiculous, I ordered a USB-C cable from the Apple Store last week, it shot across the country as far as Dartmouth in Nova Scotia, which is where it’s currently sitting pending a delivery date! Why did they not simply mail it, pretty sure I would’ve received it by now if they had.

Depends on who worked on your shipment

The line workers could be trying to meet severe productivity goals and it's quicker to grab what's at hand if the proper container isn't readily available. Just my take.

Amazon has never seen a box it doesn't love. I despise what this company is doing to our environment/climate all to satiate one man's greed.
