Just saw an article asking, if folks are done with Twitter why is uptake on Bluesky so awful.

Better q: why have even a couple million folks put their online presence back in the hands of an endeavor backed by the folks who fked up Twitter in the first place? Esp w/Spoutible & Threads in the mix!

I was just telling someone else how the experience of using social media on this platform is so different from other platforms, not having trolls and agitators makes a huge difference. Plus the pace seems way less frenetic and more pleasant.
