Should immigrants, by however mode of entrance, be vaccinated immediately upon entry or processing? My initial thought is yes, or if not, why not?

I deplore my own ambiguity. I should have mentioned all the routine U.S. childhood vaccines - polio, measles, mumps, diphtheria, rubella, etc.

I was originally and immediately going to say "NO", but our visa policy requires about 10 vaccinations.

BUT, a physician must review to determine if the person is medically ok for them.
Immigrants should be the same.
