Good for you! A wise pastor once told me, "Too often, we (churches) give the most attention to those who stir the pot. It's not a healthy dynamic for either party." He's right. Calling out bullies and bad behavior may ruin a dinner party...but it empowers everyone else in the room, and those beyond.

Said to one of the few whose word precision is an art form is the height of absurdity.

And so true about the family conversations. Everyone always excuses the jackass to keep the peace which ends up accomplishing nothing.
