50 Years of #hiphop . Wow. It went from house parties and stuff to being a world wide impact. What a journey. I always say that if you don't Hip Hop history then you don't truly know Hip Hop.

That performance was nice to see.

Hip Hop is Black culture. World culture.

I studied hip hop history to teach a dance appreciation class. Amazing creativity. Wish the dance part of the movement was more universally told.

Yes! The combination of graffiti art, music and dance from those early days is really beautiful. And, in the face of derision, as you note. It was really instructive as an old white lady to learn the history of this form I was so unfamiliar with…WOW.
