I saw a poll asking people for their favorite greens - collards, turnips, mustard, and cabbage.

I never considered cabbage a green until today. I mean, I guess it is. It's like the cauliflower of broccoli, I guess.

BTW, I'm a collards and cabbage girlie. Not together though.

The ancestors in me will not allow it. We are already eating greens with utensils which my great grandmother thought was absolutely wrong.

I've never eaten greens with my hands. Now I'm intrigued.

Chile....Ain't nobody call no cabbage "greens". If we let this happen, this is how we lose recipes.

I don’t usually mix my collards and cabbage but I had half a cabbage and a small amount of collards and cooked them together and it was delicious. I think cooking in cast iron makes the food taste better.

I think the issue for me is that they don't cook at the same rate, so I'd hate to have mushy cabbage and uncooked collards.

I like collards, also beet greens mixed with spinach. Lacinato (dinosaur kale) is nice too.

Does Lacinato taste like regular kale?

Interesting. In my neck of the woods, seems everyone likes either greens or spinach. Never both. I'm the weird exception. I like both.

I also like cabbage. But, cabbage is cabbage. Cabbage is green. But cabbage ain't greens! 🤣💙
