If you want to wire 1,000,000+ dollars to Spoutible to make it ad-free for a year for everyone, please be my guest. But short of that, we need to pay the bills. Spoutible is free to use but isn't free to run.

Hey @cbouzy why am I getting ads for a right-wing fascist political leader in my feed? Since when are you straight out running ads?

Plus, if they allow Google to personalize their ads, then they'll likely get less MAGA. Or at least more of whatever they've been browsing.

Maybe.

Ahh, go on. Some of the ads I see I pretty entertaining. The toenail fungus thing reminds me of my mom who died like 25 years ago, but not from toenail fungus.

Genuine question, does Spoutible earn extra revenue for clicking ads? There's a favorite website I support by doing that...

I enjoy seeing right wing ads here because:
a) I know they will be mostly ignored
b) Ads of any kind mean Spoutible is growing.
c) Conservatives are helping to pay for our wonderful escape... FROM THEM!
