Had a long talk Yday w friend of many decades, she told me that in midst of my family caretaking I need to go to some place where I can set aside the “what do I need to do next” set of acts and thoughts about long ToDo list…and just be, to make time space to Feel My Own Feelings About It All.

Taking care of dad with the Alzheimer's through the pandemic broke something in me that's never coming back. The things your friend outlined, try to do them, it will preserve more of you.

Thank you! Much appreciated. I've turned it all into an additional lesson I impart to my kids. Life will throw things at you, you will find a way through, try to remember who you are.
