We have lived the congressional gridlock here. But Biden can declare the climate and biodiversity emergencies and unlock existing statutory powers without anyone’s permission. At minimum he can use that authority to stop permitting carbon emitting projects, stop leasing federal land.

A valid, democracy-safe and not meaningless way to protest Biden is to vote "uncommitted" in the primary. It sends a message that has been noted by the press (in MI anyway) and therefore may be heard by the White House.
