In 1972, I was working, registered to vote, tax paying, married WOMAN.
Sears was the only business that would give me, in my own name, a credit card.
I keep this card as a reminder - we cannot go back to being ‘less than’.

Yep.
Women were just so irresponsible we just couldn’t be trusted with important manly things like money.
