So after six months of physical therapy, I met with an orthopedic surgeon today and I’m having my first full knee replacement in September and the second on in Jan/Feb. I’m terrified but also so done with this fucking pain. I want to walk and hike again. I’m ready!

really? why? the knee surgeries have improved tremendously over the past few years...

Yeah, everyone I've spoken to says it's the best thing ever. And most are surprised by how fast the recovery is.

about 2 hours after surgery they get you up to walk? a few steps, and there is a pain block in place for up to 48 hours..
sent me home, PT came to my house, all good..also sent me home with an ice machine to keep knee iced
