The wash of light in a huge clean room makes everything seem #pale , especially if those things are reflective metal. At right is the spacecraft #EuropaClipper .
When it gets 2 wings of solar arrays, it’ll be the size of a basketball court.

Live view of the Clean Room at the Spacecraft Assembly Facility at JPL #EuropaClipper is undergoing tests.
Yday was family day (families of staffers working on mission) & man (works in this spot) told his fam blue flashing light = power going to spacecraft.

Clean rooms are an underappreciated art form and very expensive; not at all trivial to accomplish. We still see failures in them later on in component mortalities.

Yes. I was talking to himself (JPL staff) about what they at the lab do— build, test and deploy one-off equipment that needs to travel far and be remotely operated on/near other planets, moons, comets, asteroids.

And go through rigorous “what if” design processes and contingencies built in.
