#Spoutories #drip

If you're absent-minded or easily distracted like me, you might not notice the drip of a faucet or a toilet that needs its handle jiggled - until the water & sewer bill come. Whoa! The price skyrocketed. A plumber is expensive, but so is letting leaks persist in an old house.

Yup. Got the letter after the work had been done. Hard to tell the cost of the drip vs cost of watering the garden, though. It was just a big bill.

I used to be on the "summer sprinkling plan" because of how much Bob watered the roses. Now I neglect everything & let nature take its course. It's amazing that I don't preside over a patch of dirt at this point.

Dammit, now I keep imagining I hear the upstairs toilet running. Oh well, extra steps 🙂
