Yeah America needs to actually make their civics education a lot stronger, because...people still think the president (any president) is the king of the world. Also for those protesting Gaza...what the hell are they going to do about it.

They know that vote tossing/sitting out is how we got evil for four years. If they're that concerned about Gaza...they're going to have to turn their anger to Netanyahu and Hamas. The two boils on the ass of humanity how WANTED this to happen.

Also our media is doing a shit job in reporting the fact's and are letting this spread. Listen, I know that Biden is not above criticism. However, and this is a huge however, Biden cannot unilaterally make decisions on another country, or force their leaders to do anything about it.

That's now how it works. Bluntly, what do these protestors want...and what do they want Biden to do about it? He can only do so much. As I've said, he cannot unilaterally end aid, or slow walk it. Under the constitution he's bound to spend the money as appropriated.

Secondly, it's about time that the leaders of Hamas, and Netanyahu (and his enablers) are brought to justice. Both are hyper guilty of crimes against humanity, and war crimes. To review, Hamas has military installations and tunnels under no-go zones under the Geneva Convention on purpose.

They know for damn well how to play the game. Also Netanyahu is doing this because he was going to go to prison. Now for those of you angry about what's going on in Gaza, I pose the following. First, do you think Trump (or the GOP) would give a damn?

Secondly, do you want Biden to continue to peace? Finally, is it worth throwing away American Democracy because you are frustrated that Biden isn't the policeman of the world? Figure out those answers, and figure 'em out fast.

If you want things to not destabilize, you'd be wise to stick to Biden. He's the best chance not only to calm things down but also to bring pain to the trouble makers. Here's the harshest reality for everybody here...emotional responses begat illogical choices. Use logic, and think though.

Logic and critical thinking is not being used unfortunately. Lots of these young people want to disrupt the system! It’s clear they don’t understand geo politics. All or nothing is not how this works. It’s so frustrating to watch this all play out. I can’t watch the news.

4 weeks ago or so was a rough ride engaging with the college students. When emotion collides with logic, logic often loses. I wrote to both Schumer and Biden, continuously, like many others, asking that they give us something substantive to work with. "Trust me" was failing.

I think that effort worked. What's happening now is protest as spectacle and sport to a degree.
