Well why should the burden be put on young people?
They aren't the ones who decided protecting dysfunctional capitalism is more important than their futures.

I told you the young wouldn’t “save” us. I work with them! I see them everyday. They can’t figure out how to only double space, you think they can figure out the complexities of divestment, Middle East peace, US elections, and protest negotiation? Please!

The blame game - Blame Ur kids for the pile of racist misogynist do-do U left in the middle of the living room. "Where are the adults!" they shout; from their hiding places behind Christian blasphemy under red hats proclaiming their idolatry. all in service of an apocalyptic suicide pact.

No obligation to do so. But they shouldn’t be spoiled brats either.

Too many adults in the room are telling them being spoiled brats is okay.

And I do understand your point.
I'm acknowledging the dissonance.

It’s on people with knowledge & experience to guide, not talk down to young people, it’s not an easy task, as a teacher who taught HS for 11 years in person & 10 years in middle school. The knowledge you drop takes years to percolate in their brains but I can attest we can influence them😌
