The Menopause Manifesto: Own Your Health with Facts and Feminism by Dr. Jen Gunter was recommended to me. It's on my Kindle. Book club idea?

It's amazing how much of the #menopausal transition is glossed over in medical school. As a doctor going through this myself, I have the same questions as you. Medicine is so very behind on women's health. If anyone is interested, I can post things I learn along the way. #inthistogether

One of my GFs swears by this book. She has multiple health problems anyway but it wasn't until she got on HRT that she could jog again, build muscle, deal with high BP, and work on weight creep.

I've been meaning to read it. As a smoker, my gyn wouldn't put me on HRT.

Someone took my autographed copy. I’ve never been more upset than over that one. It’s an excellent book.

Family history of early menopause had me seeking answers.

I was early too. Turns out there was a family history, but medicine being what it has always been, it wasn't put together until they figured out I was experiencing perimenopause in my 30s.
