Question: I have been working on crocheted toys for donation. Now that I have discovered that I have Covid, should I not donate the one I'm currently working on? How long does Covid survive on surfaces? Can I donate after I'm better and I spray the toys with Lysol?

Here is the latest - I adapted the standing bear pattern and turned it into a dog. I like him. The dog is new. The pink bears are for comparison. The pink bears were already sent to someone. I don't mind keeping the dog and making new ones for donation after I'm well.

You can put them in the dryer for a hot cycle or put them in a black plastic bag and put in the sun to be 100% safe, but I would not sweat it much. On fabric it dies after 2 days so jut box them up and wait 1 day to mail

I’m not sure. Perhaps Selma @Epidatageek could help? She’s an epidemiologist.

Love the dog adaptation! The bears are lovely too. ❤️
