I’ve been meaning to do a hot and sour soup but going to do it in the slow cooker instead after finding a recipe. Yours looks 😋

It is so easy and you don't need a slow cooker. Once the prep is done - it's maybe 30 minutes. I love that is is quick and so satisfying.

I did - thanks again.

My taste is more adventurous than my household hence freezing is a must for me. Their taste buds are so bland 🙄 *sighs* my inner foodie is being suppressed 😂

4. Continue stirring the soup in a circular motion, then drizzle in the eggs in a thin stream (while still stirring the soup) to create egg ribbons. Stir in the tofu, half of the green onions, and sesame oil. Then season the soup with salt and a pinch* of white pepper (or black pepper) to taste.

Heat over medium-high heat until the soup reaches a simmer.

Ingredients cut off: • 8 ounces firm tofu*, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
• 4 green onions, thinly sliced
• 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
• Kosher salt and black pepper (if you have white pepper, great)

I usually make a double batch. Hot n Sour Soup

• 8 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups thinly-sliced with stems discarded regular white mushrooms
• 1/4 cup rice vinegar
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
• 1 teaspoon sriracha
• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 2 large eggs, whisked
