My biggest peeve is that some people can't seem to understand just how important Echoing is here. I'm looking at you 1st and 2nd Wavers...don't be so comfortable in your established pods that you don't help set the example for the newcomers, is all I'm saying.

Doesn’t echoing cause the post to flood folks’ timelines with the post? Will I see a copy of the post from everyone I follow who echoes it? Or perhaps Spoutible limits the number of copies I see of any given echo?
These questions are why I’m hesitant to echo a post as often as I like it.

If you follow a lot of accounts, the repeat effect gets diluted. You can also switch to the explore page to see more variety.

That’s how I came across your spout. Explore is my go to after timeline check

So… if 50 people I follow all echo the same spout, will I see 50 copies in my timeline?
I’m just trying to understand how it works.

I'm not certain, but I think so. I usually use Explore, and with so many active users now, the repeats are much less obvious and easy for me to ignore.

Remember this is a beta-i think @cbouzy has mentioned the multiplication issue as well.

But here's the thing-i can scroll past repeats.

But I may never see the un-echoed post you thought well enough of to like.

Engagement is key on #Spoutible -we cannot engage what we don't see.
