Regarding Biden's age, it is infinitely preferable to have an octogenarian progressive instead of a fifty year old fascist.

And if Biden somehow can't complete the term, Harris takes over and she would continue to advance the same progressive agenda anyway.

Not seeing a downside at all.

The *only* downside to the possibility of Harris completing Biden's second term would be her re-election chances in 2028. All the misogyny of 2016 would flood back into public discourse, with racism on top. If Harris had the Michelle Obama charm, maybe she'd have a chance.

One would hope attitudes might evolve by then especially if she's a sitting president. But we all thought so in 2016 too.

But the GOP sure doesn't have much of a bench. Maybe they'll be reduced to running Don Jr. if he hasn't overdosed on coke by then.

She is charming, it's not her fault the media won't show that. And she'd have been POTUS.

Same. And then she could run in 2028 as an incumbent.

Great point! It is also interesting that no one is harping on about tRUMP's age when he is nearly as old as Joe and certainly mentally incompetent.

Those people don't care that their orange god can barely form sentences. They crave the chaos and hate that comes with him. He's just a vessel for it.
