Regarding Biden's age, it is infinitely preferable to have an octogenarian progressive instead of a fifty year old fascist.

And if Biden somehow can't complete the term, Harris takes over and she would continue to advance the same progressive agenda anyway.

Not seeing a downside at all.

The *only* downside to the possibility of Harris completing Biden's second term would be her re-election chances in 2028. All the misogyny of 2016 would flood back into public discourse, with racism on top. If Harris had the Michelle Obama charm, maybe she'd have a chance.

She is charming, it's not her fault the media won't show that. And she'd have been POTUS.

Hey, I dig the hell out of Kamala, as do most Democratic Party-leaning voters. She's legit. She's walked the walk of equality and justice. I'm just pointing out that her negatives -- the way the right and independents perceive her -- are as unfavorable as Hillary Clinton's.

One would hope attitudes might evolve by then especially if she's a sitting president. But we all thought so in 2016 too.

But the GOP sure doesn't have much of a bench. Maybe they'll be reduced to running Don Jr. if he hasn't overdosed on coke by then.
