And I'm sick & tired of privileged whiners who think a Dem party fighting tooth & nail against fascism & bigotry, trying to lift millions out of poverty, trying to save the planet (etc) is "evil." This is sloppy thinking that demonstrates you have nothing to lose, & only helps the actually evil GOP.

Purity got us Strip Search Sammy, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett. Purity joins hand with evil and jumps in with both feet. You can only be that pure if you have so much privilege that others don't matter to you.

They're mostly conspiracy theorists who think anything associated with "the establishment" is evil- or frustrated people who have given up on politics. Or Marxist/anarchist types who see things through a very narrow focus on economic class warfare. When they're not just fascist posing as Leftists.

That's why we are always fighting and begging for votes. People who think they have nothing to lose don't give a shit about those who have everything to lose. They are also too ignorant to realize that Politics runs everything, from food, banks, jobs, and air

I don’t understand how he can “both sides are evil, one a bit lesser” things but also want to preserve veterans benefits that one side aka the GOP is trying to reduce.
It’s giving interested in “his own” issues being handled by dems, presumably, but doesn’t give a damn about anyone else’s issues.

Lesser of two evils?
We have one candidate who is LITERALLY Evil (racist, corrupt, greedy) & another candidate who is smart, experienced & has integrity BUT, she's a WOMAN. yuck
I CAN'T DECIDE!
It's not the lesser of two evils if only 1 is evil

The only explanation for this mentality is this person, and others like them, have been consuming RW propaganda. MAGA is constantly declaring the Left to be "evil".
Projection at its finest.

The solution to a true “lesser of 2 evils” problem is that 2 large businesses don’t own the political game and there are more viable parties. But there is too much money in politics for that to happen. What I don’t understand is feeling like Biden/Harris haven’t been objectively good.

And it's beyond sloppy thinking atp, it's flat out dangerous but they don't gaf because they think it won't affect them.

That was the first thing I did - I found and blocked them. If you already happen to have them blocked though, they don't show up in a search. I just experimented with that, and I only got search results for them when I unblocked and then when I blocked again no results.

So many people think its perfectly acceptable that there are only two choices and that for people who think neither choice aligns with their beliefs/values that they should just suck it up and vote for the candidate I want since the system doesn’t allow for the formation of a viable 3rd party.

Nah, man. No one thinks that.
The problem with "how we vote" vs. "who we vote for" is well established. We NEED (need!) ranked choice voting everywhere for third (and fourth, etc) parties to be viable. Im with you there. But the alternative is to screw over even more marginalized ppl.
Why do that?

It's not about sucking it up and voting for the candidate *I* want – it's about voting for the candidate who will fight to stop fascism and bigotry. 3rd party candidates are not & will never be viable unless the system is drastically changed...but even then it's ultimately a binary choice.
