Ok Spoutans, I need your help.

I’m practicing with cake rolls. The fancy word is “roulade” (from the Latin “roule” meaning “cake blunt”).

Which option do you pick?

“Jelly roll” - sponge cake with strawberry jam filling

“Swiss roll” - chocolate cake with whipped cream filling

Jelly my roll

Swiss my roll

Jam jelly roll because filling is more stable. and pedantically, roulade comes from rotulus or little wheel.

Hmmm… no, I’m pretty sure it comes from the Greek “rollicae” meaning “reinvent this, suckuh!”
