Holly smokes! This ought to drive those anti-mRNA and anti-everything dolts batty. A #pancreaticcancer #mRNA #vaccine that is showing good clinical trial results(early) treating and preventing future recurrence of #cancer . What a time to be here!

It's crazy that it's been around as long as it has. We are just at the dawn of the innovations that will come.

This is the exact reason to fund research and not items of a particular color (when I say particular color I mean pink). Products won't help people - research does!

Every time I hear a cancer breakthrough, I think back to my mother's mother, dead from the big C 30 years ago this year. May this vaccine be the start of making my family's pain from her death obsolete!

A college friend died on Christmas eve, 2019 from pancreatic cancer. I hope this works, because that is one of the WORST ways to go.

I think Patrick Swayze and Alex Trebeck are looking down and are happy we are making progress. I of course wish it could've been for them as well. 💙

This is good news. My Grandfather died of pancreatic cancer in 1988. At the time there were no treatment options.

"Only 53.7% of girls & 48.7% of boys aged 13–17 years have completed the required doses of HPV vaccines (Walker et al. 2019). Approx. 27% of men and 53.6% of women between the ages of 18–26 are vaccinated (Boersma and Black 2020). There are disparities in vaccination rates by race and ethnicity."

based on above spout (i'd love to be able to thread replies), my guess is that many more red state than blue state residents will die of pancreatic cancer in coming decades. assuming death squads don't get to them first.

Now let’s get pharmaceutical ads off tv & redirect those funds into R&D. I know the pharma lobby would never allow it, but tv drug ads are taking over. Cigarette ads were removed so why not pharmaceutical ads?

Pancreatic cancer very quickly kills; I lost a friend and coworker in a very short period of time to it. I think this is an amazing accomplishment and hope it leads to other similar tools to treat other cancers.

The anti-mRNA attitude doesn't make any sense to me. Having experienced both ordinary immunisations and mRNA covid jabs, I am deeply impressed with this new technology. It seems, to my body as I observe it, to be less intrusive than the old way of immunising. And likely much more effective.

It’s incredibly cool that mRNA technology research is expanding and I’m excited about the future. I can’t see this being available to the general public anytime soon and by general public, I mean people who solely rely on insurance to cover their healthcare. #UniversalHealthCareNow

Yes! I saw a teaser blurb about this last week. Drs should check the bird app for conspiracy nonsense before dispensing. & pts should be forced to listen to how they were wrong or are hypocrites for wanting this. If women have to listen to MISinformation before abortion, they can suck it up!

What’s also great is that the medical research community realizes the importance of putting out news stories so the public won’t be asking “what’s mRNA” 15 yrs from now. One of the reasons the mRNA conspiracies flourished was lack of mRNA knowledge even among physicians that are not researchers.

I'm not sure about the protocol of these studies but it seems highly unusual that they didn't give credit to BioNTech which is the company that created the individualized vaccines. This is the company that was originally working with mRNA prior to the pandemic to try to create vaccines for cancer.
