My very good friend died yesterday at age 64, seven months shy of retirement. She never got to enjoy her much anticipated retirement because she needed the health insurance. Fuck those who want to raise the retirement age to 70 and keep health insurance tied to employment. ????????

I'm so sorry for your loss. I need a diagnostic cancer screening & have no insurance. Terrified. I've been fighting for 4 years for SSDI. Paid taxes for 43 years. Married & hubs works so don't qualify for medicaid or charities. The working poor are denied care. The ACA is NOT affordable!!

The working poor are the ones who suffer the most under our current health care / insurance system. I worked in patient accounts in a medical facility. I know how grossly unfair it is.

It boggles my mind that we are the only industrialized nation that can’t take care of its people. But hey, corporations and billionaires are well protected. I hope you are able to get the care you need ❤️
