This is a shame. With the glut of content out there, this was one of the few shows worthy of a third season:

It's the streaming equivalent of the trolly problem. Unsolvable.

That's why you get one for a month and catch up on everything you want to watch. Then cancel and pick up something else. Rinse repeat. The two streaming services that I know people keep much longer are Amazon (shipping) and Peacock (mostly WWE fans)

This is like Sophie's Choice for incredibly shallow people. But as I am as shallow as a glass of water, I think I'll have to go with....

DAMN, I CAN'T CHOOSE!

I think both streaming services offer equally excellent content. And I love both. However, Netflix's content is more frequent and more varied between the two, imo. So I gotta go with Netflix.

When I can't find something to watch anywhere else, I'll go to Netflix and 9 times out of 10, I'll find something new that I end up enjoying.

I’ll take Paramount with their commitment to Star Trek. Discovery may be the best Star Trek series ever. I’m gobsmacked.

HBO is like going to a fine restaurant-- nearly everything on the menu will be amazing or at least interesting. Netflix is like going to a mall food court-- yes there is some good food there, but you REALLY have to look for it since it's cluttered with lots of junk food.

Used to love Netflix but I'm too afraid to invest time in their stuff now because I'm afraid they'll just cancel the anything I do get invested in. Lots of eroded confidence in thar platform.

Yes, they’ve entirely lost site of the way people considered whether it’s worth investing themselves in a series. It doesn’t really matter how successful the streaming of the series is - it’s all about whether they can capture the demographic that brings in the $

Especially when they used to tout shared passwords when they started their streaming process.
Yup, their stockholders feel their payola amounts are going down too much so Netflix is screwing the very people they need to survive - their customers.

Our family is close to dumping Netflix. We like the user interface the best out of all the apps, but this push to not be able to share passwords (when we pay for 4 viewing at the same time) is the last straw.

It’s an abusive and controlling move - anything rather than find creative ways to increase profits. Late stage capitalism is an end stage cancer.
