I am a survivor of #prostatecancer
Caught very early as I had a PSA Test twice a year as part of my routine blood draw.
21 Radiation treatments and 18 months later it is still in remission.
Men get a exam or a PSA test at least once a year
Not every man dies from it but every man will die with it!!

#FathersDay shouldn't be the only day we bring awareness to #prostatecancer . My father has Prostate Cancer, but luckily he's over 70 and able to wait and monitor. It's very important gents that y'all get this checked annually along with your PSA.

Everyone needs to know this cancer is not a death sentence if caught early. It is very well understood and easily treatable and if treated early enough almost never returns. Worst part for me was 2 things, the biopsy and the implant of the gold markers for treatment. Radiation was a very easy for me

I have prostate cancer as well.
Found it early and had 2 biopsies so far.
I’ll be having surgery later this year to remove my prostate.
I’ll schedule it next time I speak to the surgeon in late July. Probably this fall for the surgery.

Surgery was also option but after consulting with a oncologist radiation was a no brainier for me. That being said we have one of leading cancer research and treatment centers in the country at Fred Hutch.

Been watching my PC for 3 years now. My PSA is slightly elevated 7.1 and my urologist says my new normal PSA is 7.8.

Keeping an eye on it.

Greg I almost fell out of my chair when I saw your #.
Then I googled how it is tested in Canada and your # made way more sense.
For reference my test range is 0-4 ng/mL and I had been 2.8-3.5 for years then in a year it went 3.5-4.6-5.8 and I had it. 2 quadrants out of the 4 but very shallow.
